Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the PayoutWatch app and service (the "Service").
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
1. Service Description
PayoutWatch is a Shopify-embedded application that reconciles Stripe payouts against bank deposits. Our service allows you to connect a Stripe account, upload bank statement CSV files, run automated matching, and review variance explanations for any payout that doesn't match a bank deposit cleanly.
2. Payments and Refunds
The Service requires a recurring subscription, billed through the Shopify Billing API. Plans are listed inside the app and start with a 14-day free trial.
Refund Policy:
- Within Trial: Cancel any time during the 14-day trial. No charge.
- After Charge: Refund requests within 14 days of a charge are reviewed case-by-case. Contact us to request one.
- Service Failure: Full refund for any billing month in which the Service was materially unavailable due to issues on our end.
To request a refund, contact us at sup@payoutwatch.org.
3. Content and Data
Our Service connects to your Stripe account (read-only) and accepts bank CSV uploads from you. You are responsible for the data you provide and the financial decisions you make based on the Service's output.
You retain all ownership rights in your data.
You represent and warrant that: (i) you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to provide all data to the Service, and (ii) your data does not violate any rights of any person.
The Service's matching engine and variance explanations are best-effort — they're tools to assist your reconciliation, not a substitute for human review of financial records.
4. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding data provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of PayoutWatch and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall PayoutWatch, nor its agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
